Catch Up Blog 3 (Thanksgiving)

At Thanksgiving, we had a lot of fun. We spent it at my parents, and two of my brothers, my sister, and their families came into town. In total, my parents had 14 of their grandkids there. We spent the time playing games, watching movies, and playing in the leaves. Here is Grandpa throwing grandkids into the leaves.
H thought the leaves were a little itchy.

E loved jumping in the leaves.

For Thanksgiving dinner we had 2 turkeys; the traditional roasted turkey, and my brother deep fat fried the other. They were great. We also had all the traditional meal items, way more food that should be legal for anyone to eat.
We finished the evening with a nice buffet of homemade pies. Pumpkin Pie, Apple Pie, Mixed Berry Pie, and my favorite, Lemon Meringue Pie.
Look at that fabulous Pie. (I made it myself.)
After all the festivites were over, it was time for everyone to go home. It was sad to see everyone leave, we had such a great time together.

We love the deep fryed turkeys. It is hard for us to eat any other kinds
